Les Alizés is open at all meal times offering either a table d’hôte or a buffet serving Wester, Chinese, Indian, and Mauritian cuisine. Conveniently located between the bar and the swimming pool, this restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere despite it being in the lively centre of the hotel.

Kot Nou is the Attitude Hotel’s signature Mauritian restaurant. It offers a cosy atmosphere in tropical surroundings with shaded lights and sand beneath your feet. The Chef presents an innovative fusion of their grandma’s traditional food with spices and a modern flair. Be sure to book in advance as Kot Nou is very popular with guests.

Steps away from the swimming pool is Taba-J, a concept street food van that serves Mauritian favourites. Try the snacks on offer while you relax in the shade of the tropical almond trees.

Tides Bar is the ideal spot to enjoy a range of cocktails – from traditional favourites to new creations to mocktails, there’s no shortage of choice here! Take a moment to relax in the shade of the open kiosk with a drink in hand.

When on the white sands of the beach it will be impossible to notice Coco’s bright red cart filled with coconuts or his wide smile. Coco will crack a fresh coconut for you to enjoy the sweet water and quench your thirst while relaxing on your sunbed.

Whether it’s in the hotel’s pool or at the beach, you can take a dip in the water at any point during the day.

Glass Bottom Boat

Hop on Dahoo’s glass bottom boat to discover the gorgeous lagoon and the tropical fish and coral it homes. A 30 minute stop allows you to feed the fish from the boat or even take a quick snorkelling dip.

Snorkelling

During the boat’s stop you can take a swim with a mask and snorkel and get to see the beautiful underwater sights up close.

Most of the staff grew up in Mauritius and with the Otentik Experience of dinner with a local family, 100% of the cost goes to your hosts. The hotels run music competitions to discover incredibly talented up-and-coming musicians and the art in the hotels is created by local artists.

All the hotels in the Attitude brand have a zero single-use plastic policy for guests to reduce the amount of unnecessary plastic waste the hotel produces. You will get a reusable water bottle upon arrival that you can use for the duration of your stay and can take away when you leave!

Use the free mineral suntan lotion that’s kind to coral so you can go snorkelling and visit the Marine Discovery Centre at Lagoon Attitude to talk to the scientists and learn about the island’s fragile lagoon. Guests are encouraged to join in litter picking – a lot of the interior design touches are made from upcycled materials that were litter on the beach.

Attitude hotels have switched to greener energy systems in their hotels. Solar water heaters and outdoor lighting has been introduced across the hotels. AC door switches make sure that the air conditioner automatically turns off if the doors open, and all the light bulbs in the rooms and common areas are LED bulbs.

Attitude created the Marine Discovery Centre aiming to inform and act together. The Centre is located at Lagoon Attitude hotel and has two full-time scientists who train and educate the local population, fishermen, and guests who visit. They help everyone to understand the beautiful environment and how to help protect it. An underwater trail was created that highlights the beauty of the seabed without damaging it. The trail educates you about the fragile ecosystem.
