The rooms guests can choose from are Palace Classic, Palace Premier, Junior Suite, Premier Junior Suite, Prestige Junior Suite, or the Deluxe Suite, Premier Deluxe Suite and Prestige Deluxe Suite – which all can accommodate up to 3 people.

Classic furniture fills the suites, with tall windows framed by elegant flowing drapes and oriental rugs covering the floor. No stone is left unturned with crystal chandeliers hanging from the high ceilings and classic furniture filling the rooms, which would not be out of place in a palace. The suites are sophisticated, and all come with spacious lounge areas which include cosy sofas, and luxurious ensuite bathrooms.

The Diplomatic Suites can accommodate up to 4 people, with 2 bedrooms, a living room, and an ensuite bathroom with a jacuzzi bathtub and separate shower. The Governor Suites, Executive Governor Suites, and Alvear Suites are all complete with a reception hall, living room, bedroom and ensuite bathroom. The Presidential Suite includes all this plus an elegant dining room with a capacity for up to 8 people.

The Executive Presidential Suite boasts a dining room with a capacity for up to 10 people, and room for an extra bed. Both Presidential Suites are perfect for hosting, as they come with two bathrooms. The Royal Suite is, unsurprisingly, fit for royalty. An apartment which boasts a living room, study, bedroom, and two glorious bathrooms.

The height of luxury and elegance, the lounge suites at Alvear Palace Hotel include traditional interiors, with classic furniture and features of gold throughout the suite. All these suites come with a spacious bedroom, a relaxing lounge, and an ensuite bathroom which includes a deep bathtub, perfect for unwinding after a long day, and a separate shower. The Roof Garden Suite includes a terrace and a balcony, with sweeping views over the city and river, and the Junior Suite Le Mirador includes a stylish French balcony. The other rooms you can choose from are the Junior Lounge Suites, Deluxe Lounge Suite and the Deluxe Suite Le Mirador.

Guests who wish to relieve tension or stress can head to the Alvear Spa and Fitness Centre and can enjoy a range of restorative activities. Alvear Palace Hotel has its own volunteer project, which began in 2006. The team behind the volunteers was originally formed by employees of the hotel and they work to help people who live in deprived sectors of Argentina. Alvear also understands the importance of protecting natural resources and so have a business philosophy which reflects this. They help to preserve non-renewable energy sources and have adopted sustainable practices such as reducing water and energy consumption, treating their waste before releasing it, and actively promoting recycling within their property.
