Ancient Hue Garden House

Nestled among the landscaped garden around the swimming pool lies five ancient wooden lodges, each featuring eight rooms. The buildings themselves are traditional to the Mandarin heritage and are strongly influenced by Feng Shui as every facet of every room is perfectly chosen. Guests can select from 5 different types of houses that can cater to families and couples with varying additions such as an outdoor private seating area, king size beds, private kitchen and of course access to the central pool. All rooms come equipped with Air Conditioning, safety deposit box, mini bar and in house phone.

Decorated with floral patterns of Hue art “Phap Lam“ and real decorative terracotta tiles reflecting the unique Citadel imperial style, the 2 rooms offer their own private terrace and bathrooms. The house is also surrounded by a landscaped garden.

Hue’s Trường Tiền House is a reminder that the city is the capital of arts and noble music. This 2-room Garden House is themed with traditional musical instruments [gongs, flutes and strings] along with paintings of famous performers. The house is also surrounded by a landscaped garden.

Bach Ma House is themed as a tribute to Hue royal costumes and accessories. The largest house of the resort, it is divided into two sections : men’s and women’s. The Men’s section showcases paintings of Imperial costumes. The Women’s section displays historical objects such as a real princess’ costume, paintings of royal jewellery, shoes, enamel tea boxes and other accessories. The house is also surrounded by a landscaped garden.

Vietnam’s old poetry is the theme of ‘Ngu Binh’ House. The House is a tribute to Ho Xuan Huong, one of Vietnam’s greatest classical poets. Poems and paintings are ornamenting the 1 bedroom House following Imperial style under the Nguyen dynasty.

Located in the main Garden House, Kim Long Fine Dining Restaurant mixes local specialties with Asian and European flavours to create memorable, modern-day versions of royal feasts. Accompanying the fine dining experience are creative cocktails that blend premium liquors with local fruits and an impressive international wine list.

Whilst staying at Ancient Hue Garden House there are a range of activities you can indulge in. The hotel offers bicycles to cycle to the nearby village of Phu Mong or the pagoda of Thien Mu to experience Vietnamese culture and tradition. With the hotel being so closely situated to the Perfume River, a boat is a mere walk away to adventure further down the river and explore Bao Vinh. If you’re not a fan of boats, you can hire a vespa to discover the rural life the location has to offer and if you don’t feel like heading out; you can find yourself practising Yoga alongside the Perfume Rive, meditating with Monks, taking up an arts and crafts class and much more!

There is an emphasis on local culture at the resort with various activities with a focus on educating and raising awareness on the local culture. For instance, exploring the wet rice culture which gives a glance on rural cultural life in Vietnam.
