With a separate living area, dining area, kitchen and three bedrooms, families and groups can enjoy the space that is provided and take advantage of the private dining option that is available here. Guests will have their own concierge service to help make reservations, excursions, shopping trips and babysitting plans and twice daily housekeeping is included to make sure the stay is as comfortable as possible.

Open between 6pm and 11:30pm, The Pelican Bar is an authentic Caribbean bar with views of both the lush greenery of the island and Caribbean Sea. The atmosphere is inviting and relaxed during the evening and is adjacent to both the tea terrace and lobby. Steel bands play at night and it makes for the perfect location to sip on a cocktail.

Located next to Blue Water’s main pool, the bar is open between 11am until 6pm for guests to enjoy evening cocktails and sharing platters.

Offering dinner between 6:30pm and 9:30pm, guests can dine on a cliff top and enjoy flavours of both the Caribbean and France. Guests are greeted by flaming torches and a dramatic fanfare before being led to a candlelit hall where they can enjoy stunning views of the ocean as you eat.

Open for both lunch and dinner, Carolyn’s Restaurant offers guests light options to dine on with views of the Caribbean Sea. Food on offer includes salads and flat breads as well as having its own bar open between 11am and 6pm. Guests don’t even have to leave their sun lounger when dining here as the spot has a food and drinks service to wait on guests.

Open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner, guests can dine surrounded by the resort’s landscaped gardens overlooking the Caribbean Sea. During the day the restaurant is a relaxed Caribbean café, offering an al fresco dining experience. As night falls guests can enjoy a more refined spot to dine and attend the weekly barbecue experience.

For special occasions, guests can choose to dine privately under the stars. Any number of parties can be catered to and guests can choose from a number of naturally stunning locations to dine at across the resort. Smaller groups and couples can choose a gazebo on a private clifftop with views of the ocean and larger parties can hire the Cove Restaurant or Rock Cottage depending on availability.

Blue Waters resort has its own spa to bring guests sumptuous treatments to soothe the mind, body and soul. Guests can indulge in massages and facials and also take a trip to the on-site salon for some pampering. There is also a full bridal service available in the salon for the perfect destination wedding at the resort. The spa works alongside Elemis and Ila to bring guests a range of products that nourish the body of every guest who visits the spa. Guests can continue to unwind at the resort by taking yoga at the on-site yoga pavilion.

The naturally stunning location makes Antigua the perfect spot to try out a host of water sports on the Caribbean Sea. The resort offers windsurfing, kayaking and snorkelling, providing lessons to beginners. Snorkelling is perfect in the Caribbean due to the clear waters. Swim with the local sea life and witness the delicate ecosystems for yourself.

The resort has its own fitness centre on-site with state-of-the-art cardio and strength training equipment. Personal training is also available upon request. The resort also has its own tennis courts within the resort’s gardens just a short stroll from the reception. The courts are floodlit for those playing when the sun goes down and the reception staff are available to arrange a reservation for you.

The three beaches at Blue Waters Resort and Spa are so secluded guests will be able to enjoy their privacy during their stay. Blue Waters also has several pools to lounge by. There is an adults-only pool as well as family friendly pools located across the island which offer stunning views of the Caribbean Sea.

Blue Waters Resort has recently unveiled a new major plastic reducing initiative to its property, installing refillable water stations around the property and introducing complimentary BPA-free water bottles for guests to reuse. Introducing Neem Avenue products to the bathrooms has replaced all single-use plastic whilst providing a fully-organic option for guests to use.

The resort recycles all aluminium on its property as well as any of its building materials. All soft furnishing at the suites such as rugs are also made from 100% recycled plastic bottles.

Fresh produce is grown on-site at the resort itself to maintain a low carbon footprint and reduce food packaging and waste. The resort also offers suitable food waste to local farmers for animal feed, ensuring that it is not wasted and helps the local community whilst doing so.

The resort composts seaweed due to it being a natural fertiliser and indigenous to the island.

The island itself thrives off of the natural ecosystems that surround the beaches, mainly the underwater ecosystems that are home to many species of turtles and fish. The resort consults with marine biologists regularly to discuss the impact of the resort and its effect on the beaches and ecosystems. This allows the resort to better improve their sustainability and protect the creatures of the Caribbean.

Solar energy is being used at the resort to power the walkways and garden lights across the property.

Eco friendly brands and products have been introduced in the resort’s gift shop and an organic skin care range is being used in the spa.

The resort has eliminated the use of motorised water sports, replacing them with sustainable alternatives that do not increase Blue Waters’ carbon footprint. There are instead alternatives such as windsurfing available that run based on the natural weather. Diving and snorkelling also allows guests to go below the waters and explore the delicate ecosystems that are being protected.
