Upon arrival in Yogyakarta airport, our local representative will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. Begin your evening adventure as you are picked up from the lobby of your accommodation and driven to the major shopping street in Yogyakarta.
Our first stop is to try Sate Ayam – chicken meat skewer and quail egg with peanut sauce, soy and pepper powder. Walk along Maliboro street and enjoy the bustling atmosphere of the city, as you head to a local coffee shop. Try Kopi Joss, a unique kind of coffee in where a chunk of burning coal is dropped into the black coffee and is kept for a while to get the desired turbidity and bitterness – watching the process of making Kopi Joss is exciting. Finish exploring Maliboro here where a local motorbike becak is waiting to take you to Jamu Ginggang, a famous herbal drink shop which maintains traditions dating back to the sixties. Now Jamu Ginggang is managed by the fifth generation who faithfully continue the family business. Head off on your becak as you travel to Alun Alun, one of the popular nightlife destinations in Yogyakarta. Make a stop en route to buy Klepon from a street vendor. Klepon are traditional green-coloured balls of rice cake filled with liquid palm sugar and coated grated coconut. After delighting in one of these native treats, move on the Alun Alun South Square and participate in local entertainment activities. Transfer back to your hotel and rest.

Get picked up by driver and tour guide from your hotel and head to the heart of Yogya City Centre – The Sultans Palace. Meet a local tour guide who works exclusively for the Sultan and start your palace tour accompanied by a local guide.
Delight in the sights seen through the tour of the palace built in 1755. Explore Yogya’s history and see one of the finest examples of Javanese architecture with its luxurious halls, spacious courtyards and pavilions. After Sultan Palace, we move on to the neighbouring royal garden and the water castle of Taman Sari, which was built in 1758 by the prince, with the sole purpose of being used as a palace for his pleasure with his harem.
From Taman Sari, drive to Prambanan village to visit the Prambanan Temple. The Hindu temple of the ‘slender virgin’, erected in the 9th century while Java was ruled by the Hindu Sanjayas of Old Matara. It consists of three major temples/shrines that are dedicated to respect the Hindu’s God Trinity. Before returning to your hotel, make one last visit of the day at Plaosan Temple, one of Buddhist Temples in Yogyakarta. Marvel in the beauty of inscriptions here and learn the history of this attraction.
The next day, drive to Batik factory and witness the traditional process of Batik making. Continue your journey to Candirejo Village where you will cycle through local houses, plantations, and rice fields. Stops are made to watch the locals go about their daily activities, from vanilla and chili harvesting to making cassava crackers. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. From here, transfer to Borobudur Temple the biggest Buddhist temple in the world and an unmissable sight. Return to your hotel in Jogja ready for your travel tomorrow.

After breakfast, transfer to a train station and take train in executive class to Jombang. Arriving in Jombang, continue your transfer to your hotel in Malang. En route stop at Trowulan museum, Tikus and Bajang Temple to witness some fantastic sights in Bali. When you arrive at to Malang, check in to your hotel and relax for this evening.

Mengwi is home to the former Royal Temple called Pura Taman Ayun, which is a great stop on the way to Bedugul. Built in the 17th century, the temple served as the family temple of the Mengwi dynasty, whose kingdom survived until the late 1800s. The temple is famous for its exquisite wooden merus, or pagoda-like shrines. Last stop on this busy day is Tanah Lot, a magnificent temple perched gingerly on a huge rock resting just off the shore. Probably the most photographed temple in Bali, this temple has been an important part of Balinese mythological history for centuries. At the base of the rocky island, poisonous sea snakes are believed to guard the temple from evil spirits and intruders. There is said to be one giant snake which also protects the temple. Head back to Ubud where you will be dropped off at your hotel.

Today you will visit the famous Monkey Forest, the home of Bali’s funniest inhabitants. Continue the trip to the art museum of ARMA. Founded by Agung Rai, a Balinese who devoted his life to the preservation and development of Balinese art and culture. The collection ranges from traditional to contemporary works by Balinese, Indonesian and foreign artists. On the way to Ubud Market, you will pass by Ubud Palace, a major landmark of the town. Marvel in the unique Balinese architecture and charming gardens from the outside. After this day of discovering Ubud transfer back to your hotel where you can spend the rest of the day at your own leisure.

Check out from your hotel in Ubud and start an excursion to range of man-made and natural landmarks that are a must see throughout this region. Drive to Gunung Kawi Temple, before visiting the royal tombs at Tirta Empul. From Tirta Empul, continue your journey to Kintamani. Once in Kintamani, witness one of the highlight of the tour, Mount Batur – an active volcano which sits alongside Lake Batur. This marvel of nature is utterly breath-taking.
After embracing this phenomenal landscape, continue the trip to Besakih Temple, the mother temple of Bali. Move onto Kerta Gosa next, a historical landmark which was formerly the justice hall of the region. Once you arrive in Sanur, check in to your hotel and spend the evening at your own leisure.
Spend the next day in Sanur at your own leisure. You may want to stroll the area and visit the restaurants which are situated throughout the area, or alternatively relax by the beach all day. In the afternoon, you may want to participate in the optional Uluwatu Kecak Dance Tour, provided with an additional surcharge.
On your final day you will be picked up at your hotel in Sanur and transferred to Bali Airport for your flight.
