Are you a nature lover? Is exploring new areas one of your biggest passions? If so, we have the perfect trip for you. Embark on a classic 9-day safari exploring the most famous landscapes within Kenya and Tanzania.

Your adventure begins in Kenya, where you will get the chance to visit the Maasai Mara, an award-winning safari destination. Filled with a concentration of wildlife, spectacular game viewing activities and the world’s most spectacular natural phenomenon, the Great Wildebeest Migration.

Your next stop is Lake Manyara National Park, one of Tanzania’s iconic African safari destinations. Lake Manyara is most famous for its tree-climbing lions and mesmerising views of the Rift Valley, soda lakes, dense woodlands and steep mountainsides. The national park is full of breathtaking landscapes, all waiting to be captured by you.

Your third stop is the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest unbroken caldera. The crater is filled with iconic and elusive wildlife creatures, along with vibrant plant life and magnificent landscapes which can be admired from the crater’s rim. The crater itself is a natural wildlife sanctuary, where animals are protected by the natural borders of the sloping caldera walls and the mineral-rich earth brings life and luscious greenery.

The final stop on your adventure is the legendary Serengeti National Park, which is famous for housing some of Africa’s largest crocodiles in the Grumeti River. You can also witness some of the daily wildlife dramas which occur within Serengeti National Park, along with picturesque and diverse landscapes and scenery.

Not only will you get to see all these beautiful animals in their natural habitats, but your guides will also teach you all about their behaviour patterns along with their history. You will also gain some insights into the vegetation within the region.

Night Game Drives: Explore a different side to the Maasai Mara, as it comes to life with predators and nocturnal animals – It’s an experience you do not want to miss!

Sundowner Cocktails: watch the sunset at the Oloololo Escarpment, after a long day of game viewing activities, and indulge in some refreshing cocktails and beers.

Bush Breakfast: Enjoy a safari tradition bush breakfast, in the plains with exceptional views of the wilderness and wildlife surrounding them.

Bush Dinners: Indulge in some mouthwatering Pan African meals, under the stars with fireside entertainment by a local Sukuti band. You can arrange private dinners for date nights or special occasions.

Guided Nature Walks: Take an inspirational trek through the Masai Mara, on an exceptional guided nature walk led by highly qualified and educated guides, with vast amounts of knowledge about the areas. There are 3 different routes to explore all lasting roughly around 2 hours, each route has its own specialty and is unique from the others, they are also filled with amazing scenic views and an array of different wildlife residents to spot throughout your journey.

The first route is the Kichwa Nature Trail, which is best suited for avid bird lovers. Journey through the riverine forest and follow the perimeter of Sabaringo creek, where you will get the chance to search for over 400 different types of bird species.

The second route is the Mara Hippo Trail, a route for those who have high levels of stamina and are not afraid to get a little messy. Your journey includes trekking through the plains, riverine forest, savannah grasslands and bush lands all which surround the camp before reaching the hippo-filled Mara river.

The last route is the Oloololo Escarpment Trail, which is an incredible life-changing journey. The trail leads you from camp to the top of the escarpment, once you reach the top you are rewarded with jaw-dropping views of the Mara reserve, river and riverine forest. It’s an experience that will leave you speechless!

The Great Migration: Those who travel between July and early October can witness the greatest show on earth, the Great Migration. Which is made up of millions of animals such as wildebeests, Burchell’s zebras, antelopes and many more as they journey over from Serengeti, Tanzania to the Masai Mara, Kenya. Not only do you get to capture a unique sight of diverse species trekking through the landscapes, but you also get to watch the lurking predatory animals attempt to take down the surge of rushing herbivores who are racing against time to reach the Mara before their food supplies are depleted. Watch closely as the lions pounce on the wildebeest and zebras, and patient crocodiles lie in wait from the banks of the Mara River. The Great Migration is definitely something you do not want to miss; it’s an experience like no other. (Please note that this is a seasonal activity)
